YESHIVAS
Informal Learning & how to open your own Yeshiva
The heartbeat of a Hebrew Community is a place at which you can study the Scriptures. Such a place is called a Yeshiva. Yeshiva is the Hebrew word which means 'to sit down and study'. Many Believers seek to understand Hebraic Roots without enrolling for formal studies. HRTI has designed short modular courses to assist Believers to study and gain knowledge, in an informal, yet structured manner – by enlisting for an on-going Yeshiva programme.
We are pleased to announce that HRTI have Yeshivas available, specializing in different study courses which will occupy students for at least seven years. These are:
1 Y’shua-centred Hebraic Roots of the Christian faith courses
2 Midrashic Eschatology (Jewish biblical end-time studies) courses
3 Understand the Mysterious Spirit World from a Hebraic Perspective courses
4 Messianic Judaism (types and shadows of the Messiah in the Old Covenant) courses.
These Yeshivas are continuously opening on a national and international basis.
To open a Yeshiva, have been an on-going request by many, and since early 2008 HRTI has made this possible for people like you to open a Yeshiva. You can now apply to open a Yeshiva in your local community. The focus of the Yeshiva is to continue transforming the hearts and minds of Talmidim (students). Man was created in the image of our Heavenly Father, and these studies will help you to grow into the image of the Father and become what you have been designed to be.
Listed below are the guidelines, standards, and procedures that must be adhered to, to be able to apply for a Yeshiva:
DOCTRINE
· All teachings are designed to be Y’shua-centred and to glorify Him alone; this must be enforced during each session.
· The Statement of Faith under the heading “WHAT WE BELIEVE” is the centrality of what we stand for. In terms of the agreement, the “Presenters” use the prescribed material as guidelines to teach.
· Further, understand that you cannot make Jews from Gentiles, and never try to impose this on any student.
APPLICATION
· It is a requirement that all individuals who apply to open a Yeshiva (hereafter called “Executive Director”) must contact the responsible International Director (contact details listed below). The Executive Director will also be the Presenter of the classes for the first intake of students. If the Yeshiva grows to a proportion that it would need subsequent Presenters, these potential presenters must come from the senior student body of the Yeshiva or student who has graduated—and the person in question must undergo an interview by the responsible Executive Director.
· Yeshivas are strictly allocated to individuals and not to any Institution. That is why Presenters are interviewed and not the Institution where the Presenter worships.
· If an Executive Director relocates to another geographical area, the person can apply for a transfer of the Yeshiva to the new geographical area under the following conditions:
· A competent student or graduate of the current Yeshiva lodges a successful application to open a replacement Yeshiva in the current geographical location.
· The relocation will be to an area where it will not be in direct competition with another local Yeshiva.
· If these conditions cannot be met, the Yeshiva will be closed. The current Yeshiva is then closed in totality. This Yeshiva will remain closed until a new applicant successful applies to open a Yeshiva in the area. The Executive Director of the previous Yeshiva will have to re-apply to open a Yeshiva as if it were a new application.
· If there is a need for two Yeshivas in the same geographical area, and where there is mutual agreement with the existing local Yeshiva, then a new Yeshiva may be opened in the same geographical area.
· Yeshivas not in operation for a period of 12 months will be reviewed and closed. This remains the sole discretion of HRTI Head office.
· The opening of Yeshivas in the various geographical areas is on merit and the sole discretion of the HRTI Head office.
· To apply for the Yeshiva, please click on the link below, print it out, complete it and fax (or scan it in an email) to us - Email is the preferred correspondence.

TRAINING
Wherever possible, HRTI Head office requires all Executive Directors and Presenters to attend seminars from time to time within their province or a neighbouring province. The dates of these training sessions will be communicated well in advance when the International Yeshiva Director will be flown to your area.
FEES AND EXPENSES
· All modular course fees will be a rate per student per month as per the discretion of the Executive Director. Should the Executive Director wish to give a student a reduced rate, the Executive Director can do so independently from HRTI's office, 90% of the income remains with the Yeshiva and 10% is payable to HRTI as tithing via PayPal at our Online Shop Page on our Website. If no fees are asked, obviously then there is no tithing involved.
· The Yeshiva is responsible for the cost of all printed study materials of the students (should the Executive Director wish to give hand-outs), as well as the cost of the certificates from HRTI at the end of each course should he wish to hand certificates out.
· Certificates will not be issued at the end of each modular course unless the monies for the printing of the certificates has been paid to HRTI. The issuing and obtaining of these certificates play a vital role; as they contain credits, which are accumulated and stored on computer. Should the student later want to enrol for formal studies; these accumulated credits are considered as contributory towards the recognition for prior learning.

· The first four Modules are mandatory, after that the Executive Director may choose which Module he/she would like to present. The sequence does not have to be followed as per the numerical layout below.
· As said all Modules accumulate credits, should the student decide to enrol for formal studies from Certificate to a Doctorate at a later stage.
· If you order books or manuals (study guides) from HRTI, please ensure you order well in advance to prevent the frustration of late delivery.
· Executive Directors or Presenters may, under no circumstances, duplicate/copy any course materials or any part of the course presentation in any form for any person not attending a Yeshiva. Material may not be copied and sold.
· Executive Directors or Presenters may, under no circumstances, allow duplication of the ‘Yeshiva CD material’, nor allow any student to do so. Failure to communicate this clearly to your students could result in abuse of the above-mentioned. This could result in the instant closure of your Yeshiva.
Please note that the Course Materials on CD for the Yeshiva is updated from time to time as new information is researched. These materials will be released at a training seminar. It is the responsibility of the Executive Directors to enquire about an updates in order to obtain the updated CD. Materials will be date-stamped for identification purposes.
